Celebrating Arkansas Children’s Week in Conway County
More than 250 people gathered at Morrilton Park to celebrate Arkansas Children’s Week, and the day could not have been more perfect. With beautiful weather and smiling faces everywhere, families from across Conway County came together for a fun-filled morning focused on young children and community connection.
Children enjoyed snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs, chips, face painting, tattoo stickers, parachute play, bubbles, and more. One of the highlights of the event was that every child received a free book to take home, helping encourage a love of reading and learning.
This special day would not have been possible without the support of local early childhood providers who helped create such a welcoming experience for families. A huge thank you goes to Turquoise Squirrel, Dream Kids, Beginnings, and Sacred Heart for joining together to make the event such a delight for Conway County families with children from birth to age five.
We are also incredibly grateful for our community sponsors. We could not have done this without the support of the Conway County Community Foundation, Centennial Bank, and Colton’s. Thank you for investing in our community and in the families of Conway County. Your generosity helped make this celebration possible and created a memorable day for so many children.
Arkansas Children’s Week was a joyful reminder of what happens when a community comes together to celebrate and support its youngest learners.
And to our many volunteers - THANK YOU!!!!
