First Forty - a Jumpstart Training for New Early Childhood Educators

Are you new to early childhood education?

Or are you a program leader expecting to hire new team members?

The First Forty is the launchpad for you! This energizing, camp-style, five-day training is designed to equip new educators with the essential skills, strategies, and confidence needed for those first steps in the classroom.

  • Learn by doing through songs, stories, movement, and hands-on activities

  • Build social-emotional skills and classroom routines that work

  • Understand the “why” behind child development and professional practices

  • Connect with peers and mentors who will provide continuous support

  • Discover practical tools and classroom resources that can be used right away

  • Plus, ongoing coaching and mentoring beyond the training!

Participants will have access to experienced educators who will provide one-on-one support, answer questions, and foster confidence to help navigate the first weeks!

Be part of a supportive learning community that will set the road to success for the first forty hours — and beyond!

Spaces are limited — register today! Please email Melissa Sutton at MSutton@AState.edu with questions.
