The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), Office of Early Childhood and Teachstone® will host a live, virtual professional development series focused on improving classroom interactions. These 45-minute sessions will cover topics across age levels and provide participants with useful content and actionable strategies. All attendees will receive certificates of completion.

Getting Started with CLASS | Age Neutral

This session is designed for educators who are new to CLASS concepts.
It covers CLASS fundamentals and describes how educators and leaders can use them to foster stronger, more meaningful interactions with children.
Developing Regular Routines | Pre-K
Tuesday, September 23, 4:00–4:45 p.m. CT
During this session, participants will discuss strategies for creating effective routines and maximizing learning time to minimize distractions.
Early Language Support during Routine Care | Infant
Monday, November 10, 3:30–4:15 p.m. CT
Infants begin language learning well before they can form their
first words. This session focuses on using routines to establish relational responses and serve-and-return interactions to
stimulate early language growth.
Supporting Positive Behavior at Centers | Toddler
Tuesday, December 9, 4:00–4:45 p.m. CT
As toddlers explore and make sense of the world, they often experience new, strong emotions. This session offers strategies to support their positive behavior and foster independence during center time.
