Call for Proposals
Dear Early Childhood Explorers,
It’s time to sail off to a place where imagination runs free and learning knows no bounds! 🌿
We’re excited to invite you to submit a Breakout Session Proposal for the 28th Annual Child Care Conference hosted by Child Care Aware of Northcentral Arkansas—happening Saturday, September 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at UACCB in Batesville.
This year’s theme, 🎉 “Where the Wild Things Play: Unleashing Adventure in Early Childhood” sets the tone for a playful, energizing, and impactful experience for our region’s early childhood professionals.
We’re currently seeking presenters for three rounds of 90-minute breakout sessions covering topics that span the wild landscape of early childhood—from infants and toddlers to preschool and school-age children. Whether you’re a teacher, director, trainer, or family child care provider, your voice and experience are valuable in guiding others through this exciting adventure.
And speaking of adventure...
✨ Our keynote speaker, Ron Shuali, known as the “Messiah of the Mind” and “Behavior Master,” will lead us in a laughter-filled keynote: “Body & Mind for Mental & Physical Stress Relief”—designed to help educators manage stress, enhance focus, and return to the playful joy that brought them to this work in the first place.
📝 Submit your proposal by August 15th!
You’ll find a fillable PDF Call for Proposals form attached to this email to make the submission process easy. You’re welcome to email your completed form back to me or fax it to (870) 793-4035.
💡 Not only is this a chance to share your expertise with others, but it's also a perfect opportunity to refine your presentation for AECA in October—and reach educators who may not be able to attend that event. Plus, all presenters are invited to set up a FREE exhibit table to showcase their programs and offerings.
Sample topic ideas are included in the attached form to spark your creativity.
📣 Feel free to forward this email to colleagues, trainers, or fellow educators who might also be interested in presenting or attending. The more wild things, the better!
If you have any questions or want to brainstorm your wild idea, I’m just an email or phone call away! 📞 (870) 793-5233 or (800) 737-2237 📧 apinkston@wrpdd.org
Thank you for the work you do every day to nurture the hearts and minds of children—and for being part of this incredible community.
With wild appreciation,
Amy Pinkston
