CCANA to Sponsor Toad Suck Daze Family Reading Challenge in Faulkner County

Child Care Aware is excited to sponsor the TOAD SUCK DAZE FAMILY READING CHALLENGE FOR PRESCHOOLERS in Faulkner County. This program helps encourage reading and a love for books in young children and their families.

To participate in this exciting challenge, preschools will distribute reading charts to families, who will then take part by reading various books with their young children. They will record each book read on the designated reading chart, and then return their chart to their preschool by the final deadline of May 1st.

Preschools will report the total number of families that participated in the reading challenge, as well as the overall total number of books read. From all the preschools that take part in this program, we will randomly select five facilities to host a TOADALLY awesome Story Time event featuring the beloved Toad Suck Daze Toads - Dazey and Croaker.

For those doing preschool at home with their families, visit the Faulkner County Library in Conway to get your READING CHARTS. Return them to Mary Spears Polk (Library Youth Services Manager) by May 1st so that Dazey & Croaker can bring a TOADALLY awesome story time to the library, too!
