Children’s Fishing Derby in Independence County

Child Care Aware of Northcentral Arkansas and our friends at Merchants & Planters Bank hosted a Sunday afternoon children's fishing derby in Batesville in celebration of Arkansas Children’s Week. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocked the lake with catfish. Big K’s Bait and Tackle was on site with a wide variety of bait and other needs, and Kona Ice was available with yummy snow cones. It was a great community event.
