First Community Bank Sponsors Early Childhood Education Conference

The 27th Annual Early Childhood Education Conference held by Child Care Aware of Northcentral Arkansas is just around the corner. Drawing from current educational practices, child development research, and effective teaching strategies, this conference will provide early childhood professionals with valuable insights to enhance their skills.

We are so honored that First Community Bank of Batesville is sponsoring our keynote speaker this year, Lisa Murphy.

Founder & CEO of Ooey Gooey, Inc

Lisa is known for her ability to link hands-on activities to educational standards, her outspoken advocacy, and her commitment to creating child-centered, play-based early childhood environments. Her understanding of the importance of play is obvious in her personal and professional life.

Lisa Murphy has been in the field of early childhood education for over 30 years. She has an M.Ed. (2013) in early childhood education from Champlain College in Vermont and has authored numerous books, produced dozens of teacher training DVD’s, is a popular keynote speaker at educational conferences and a frequent guest on many early childhood related podcasts. Her standing room only seminars have become nationally known for their information, humor, inspiration and energetic delivery.

We are so pleased to be able to bring Lisa and her message to the early childhood professionals in Arkansas.

This conference, to be held on Saturday, September 28th, in Batesville Arkansas, offers an opportunity for participants to earn 7 hours of professional development credit, essential for those working in the early childhood field. Registration deadline is Tuesday September 24th by 5pm.
