CCANA Make Visits to Toad Suck Daze Reading Challenge Winners
Child Care Aware of North Central Arkansas is happy to share the success of the Toad Suck Daze Reading Challenge for Preschoolers, aimed at promoting pre-literacy and the importance of grade-level reading.
Participants showed a high level of dedication, ensuring their schools were effectively represented and that children and families gained from shared reading activities.
During visits to the winning schools, we were warmly received and express our sincere appreciation to the directors and staff for hosting a memorable celebration. We extend our gratitude to Croaker and Dazey, the Toad Suck Daze mascots, for engaging and motivating the winning classrooms.
We thank the volunteers whose support was vital to the implementation of this reading initiative within our Early Childhood Community. Special thanks to Mary Margaret Satterfield of the Conway Chamber of Commerce for her invaluable guidance and encouragement during the project’s development.
The Conway Chamber of Commerce has been a key partner in advancing early literacy and grade-level reading, fostering an environment where children, teachers, and parents thrive.
We look forward to continuing this partnership and to the numerous opportunities for reading and learning before the next annual challenge.
